I've been reading Your Private Sky, which is a large book about the life, times and strangeness of Buckminster Fuller, of whom I'm a fan.
I'm only half way through right now but some of it is too good not to share, drifting between madness and brilliance as he does so well...
On (the theory of) building houses in the arctic...
...I found that I could make a ten deck building so light it could be carried by a Graf Zeppelin, suspended horizontally under the Zeppelin's belly. The Graf upon reaching the site, could then drop a bomb, make a crater, lower the house into the crater, plant it like a tree and then fly back home...
