I think most people would agree that 90% of advertising is very poor so when something comes along that’s good, boy does it stand out. The new ads for The Guardian by Wieden + Kennedy are really pretty nice. This one is my favourite.

I agree, this whole campaign is real nice. I saw a set of three side by side on the underground and they are just so simple and considered. I even like the copy that goes with them.

yes this is a great example of well thought-out, simple yet effective design. Such a key message too - I think the guardian is the only actually independent newspaper left in Britain - even the independent is owned by various media groups
